WE & I ART is an art collective of three unique differently-abled artists.
The talented artists share their art works of various themes and styles in paintings and other mix media.
WE & I ART is titled as such to echo our everyday need for friends, for teamwork and interdependence.
Born on 09 Oct 1987, Haziq has loved animals from very young. Lacking in speech, he learnt to express his passion through drawings. Animals are the the main subject of his paintings. He often paints eyes prominently as if to help tell a story. To date Haziq has included landscape and nature as subjects and choses sunsets as his favoured time of day.
Born in December of 1991, Izzati has always been very enthusiastic about colours that surrounds her world. The curiosity about design and colours was further cultivated as she often followed, watched and admired her busy mother, Zuraini Anuar an award winning production designer and Art Director at work.
Born 3rd November 1989, Maria is an outgoing young girl who has a flair in art. A person who loves painting details and ensuring that what she does is acceptable for her artistic standards, she is very intelligent and a perfectionist. She enjoys painting flowers and birds .

For OKU Sentral, it was a real pleasure to be collaborating with We&I for a few years, participating in their annual Art festivals. I was privileged to be invited to join in the fun by performing an acoustic set together with other participants showcasing their own artistic talent. Every fest was a blast. We&I is all about empowering arts, encouraging the disabled to push their ability to the limits.

I’d like to congratulate the parents of these 3 special artist despite of the all challenges managed to successfully organise various art events independently including art performances and knowledge sharing. Supporting each other is their greatest strength and never compromise for less and always striving for the best to continuously sustain for the past 3 years. As a founder and director of project Nukilan Jiwa program for the Very Special Artists, I am very proud of the 3 artists Izzati, Haziq, Maria and their parents being the biggest ‘push’ showcasing to the public that they are not ordinary folks but very special indeed.
